A note about allergens:
The facility that manufactures Vitamin D360 does manufacture products with fish and shellfish, but they are GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) certified and audited twice a year to make sure that every precaution is taken to avoid cross-contamination in the facilities and the machinery.
However, it is possible that some of the same equipment that is used for the Vitamin D360 is used for products that contain fish and shellfish ingredients. The machines are painstakingly and thoroughly cleaned in between each use, but we cannot absolutely guarantee that there is no fish or shellfish matter present.
We are very picky about where we source our Seeking Health products, so I can guarantee that we chose the most conscientious and careful manufacturer we could find to produce Vitamin D360. We are extremely confident of the purity and effectiveness of this and all other Seeking Health products. Dr Ben founded Seeking Health specifically to provide effective supplements that are free from allergens and fillers for the people who need them.

Question:
Can I Give Liquid Vitamin D3 to my 10 Month Old Baby?
Answer:
Q: Can I give Vitamin D360 by Seeking Health to my 10 month old baby?
A: If you are breastfeeding, that is the ideal way to administer nutrients to your little one. Breastfeeding women may take up to 6000 IU a day. The Vitamin D will pass through your breast milk and into your baby in a dose of about 400 IU for the baby. Infant levels achieved exclusively through maternal supplementation were equivalent to levels in infants who received oral vitamin D supplementation. Thus, a maternal intake of 6400 IU/day vitamin D elevated circulating 25(OH)D in both mother and nursing infant. "A maternal intake of 2000 IU/d vitamin D would elevate circulating 25(OH)D concentrations for both mothers and nursing infants, albeit with limited capacity, especially with respect to nursing infants. A maternal intake of 4000 IU/d could achieve substantial progress toward improving both maternal and neonatal nutritional vitamin D status" (source: www.PubMed.com).
The American Academy of Pediatrics now recommends that children of all ages receive 400 IU (international units) of vitamin D each day to improve immunity and prevent bone-weakening illnesses such as rickets. It is recommended to get your vitamin D blood levels checked after 3 months of taking D3 and adjust the dose as needed. If you need to administer the Vitamin D directly to your 10 month old, you may give 1 DROP of Vitamin D3 oil orally every 3rd day. This is equivalent to getting around 660 IU of Vitamin D3 a day. Do NOT give your infant dairy products until they are at least 2 years of age. Dairy products at a young age put children at risk of Diabetes Type 1 which is a life long and difficult disease. Many physicians or nurses or schools will push parents to administer dairy products to their young children. This is highly inaccurate information. The Vitamin D found in dairy products is synthetic and in the form of Vitamin D2 - which is poorly absorbed. The best form of Vitamin D to receive is Vitamin D3.
Many pediatricians recommend that infants and breastfeeding mothers take Cod Liver Oil instead of just Vitamin D3. This is recommended as Cod Liver Oil is high in Vitamin D and Vitamin A along with EPA and DHA.

Question:
Liquid Vitamin D3 vs Vitamin D3 Capsules vs Vitamin D3 Tablets
Answer:
Q. Is liquid Vitamin D3 formula better to take for you than Vitamin D3 capsules or Vitamin D3 tablets?
A. I have not seen any hard and fast data showing a liquid form of vitamin D3 being superior to vitamin D3 capsules or vitamin D3 tablets.
However, Liquid vitamin D3 makes sense that it would be superior than vitamin D3 capsules or vitamin D3 tablets. There is no outer shell to breakdown in order to obtain the nutrients nor are there any other non-essential ingredients blocking absorption, such as magnesium stearate.
Liquid Vitamin D3
- Easiest to take
- Typically the cheapest per serving. At 2,000 IU per drop and 900 servings per bottle, at $19.95 per bottle, Liquid Vitamin D3 by Seeking Health costs only 2 cents per 2,000 IU.
- Typically the purest method to take it as no flow agents or encapsulating is needed
- Typically most bio-available as the vitamin D3 is not compressed inside a tablet full of magnesium stearate or other flow agents. Tablets are made using compression and many companies do not test for dissolution. Dissolution testing measures how long it takes for a tablet or capsule to break apart and present the contents to the stomach so they can be absorbed.
Vitamin D3 Capsules
- Some people prefer to take capsules over a liquid
- Not as inexpensive as Liquid Vitamin D3. At 5,000 IU per capsule and 100 capsules per bottle, at $12.99 per bottle, Vitamin D3, 5,000 IU by Seeking Health costs 5 cents per 2,000 IU.
- May contain flow agents like magnesium stearate which are not beneficial. Vitamin D3 5,000 IU capsules by Seeking Health do not contain magnesium stearate.
- May contain a gelatin capsule which is harder for some to digest and make the vitamin D3 less bioavailable. Vitamin D3 5,000 IU uses vegetarian capsules.
- No taste associated whereas the liquid vitamin D3 tastes like olive oil.
Vitamin D3 Tablets
I do not recommend Vitamin D3 tablets. They are hardest to swallow, likely will not dissolve well, likely not very absorbable and contain flow agents which help the product flow through the manufacturer's machines.

Question:
Will Vitamin D360 work with Atenelol?
Answer:
Q: I currently take Atenelol for mitral valve prolapse. Are there any interactions if I take the Vitamin D360?
A: There is no side effect from taking vitamin D3 and Atenelol.
You may find Vitamin D360 here.
Also, mitral valve prolapsed is commonly associated with magnesium deficiency. If you supplement with a quality magnesium supplement, you may find significant improvement.
Magnesium Plus provides a highly absorbable form along with Vitamin B6 which enhances magnesium absorption even more.
You may find Magnesium Consider taking 2 capsules of Magnesium Plus on rising in the AM and at night 30 minutes before sleep.
There is no risk in taking Magnesium Plus along with the Atenelol. However, you should tell your prescribing doctor that you are taking Magnesium Plus and you may need to reduce your dose of Atenelol if the Magnesium Plus improves your mitral valve prolapse symptoms.
