Q: Is the EPA/DHA Essentials 1,000 mg gluten AND soy free?  I am trying to find a gluten/soy free Omega softgels to replace my current brand since it's not soy free.  I used to buy Country Life brand Omega, and previous to that was Ultimate Omega by Nordic Naturals.  Both added soy to their mix (ugh!). 

They contained somewhere around the following:
EPA: 650 mg Other Omega-3s: 180 mg
DHA: 450 mg
Vitamin E (d-alpha tocopherol): 30 IU

A:  I hear you on the soy derived vitamin E. That is a problem many face. I have been looking for a non-soy derived vitamin E and it is tough.

Many suppliers use vitamin E as a preservative.

The EPA/DHA Essentials is not soy free.

You are in luck though. We do offer Pharmax Ultra EPA/DHA with Essential Oil of Orange. Two capsules will contain more than the EPA/DHA you were previously taking. This product is without soy.

Consider taking two capsules with food to match your previous dose.
