Ultra EPA/DHA is Pharmax's most concentrated fish oil product provided in
soft-gel capsules. It provides a means of taking physiologically meaningful
quantities of EPA and DHA for those who prefer to take capsules rather than
liquid fish oil products.
These fish oils have been independently tested for dual rancidity, mercury,
lead, arsenic, cadmium, EPA and DHA levels, PCBs, dioxin and dioxin-like
compounds. Do not compromise on purity of fish oils. If the manufacturer cannot
provide purity testing, you should not be consuming it since heavy metals are
other toxins are commonly found in fish oils.

Question:
How do the fish oil capsules by Pharmax compare with Fish Oil Liquid?
Answer:
Q: I currently take Finest Pure Fish Oil with Essential Oil of Orange Liquid
and would like to know if the Ultra EPA/DHA with Essential Oil of Orange or High DHA Finest Fish Oil Essential Oil of Orange is similar in capsule form?
A: The Ultra EPA/DHA with Essential Oil of Orange Capsules are the closer equivalent to the liquid Fish Oil. Two capsules of the Ultra EPA/DHA provide 790 mg of EPA and 530 mg of DHA, compared to to 1050 mg EPA and 750 DHA in one teaspoon of the liquid Fish Oil. The High DHA Finest Fish Oil capsules provide 520 mg of EPA and 2400 mg of DHA in two capsules. We also have Finest Pure Fish Oil w/ Essential Oil of Orange capsules, which provide 524 mg of EPA and 376 mg of DHA for about 50 cents per two capsule serving.
The liquid form is more cost-effective, however. The one teaspoon serving of liquid Fish Oil costs about 67 cents, whereas the two capsule serving of Ultra EPA/DHA Fish Oil costs about 73 cents and is less potent. With the Finest Pure Fish Oil capsules, it would take 4 capsules to get comparable amounts of essential fatty acids to the one teaspoon serving of the liquid.
