Can I Use Sinusin by Heel on Cold Sores?
Answer:
Q: My question is how do you use Sinusin Nasal Spray by Heel USA on or for a cold sore (HSV-1). I was told from my nutritionist that you could use it for that as well as Nasal congestion. Do you put it directly on the cold sore? If so how often? Thanks.
A: I am not familiar with using Sinusin for cold sores. I would ask your nutritionist. I would presume applying a bit of Sinusin 5 times a day to the cold sore would be recommended.
Avoiding chocolate and nuts is very important to help prevent and reduce healing time of cold sores.
Using zinc is important as well. Use about 50 mg of Zinc 2x Liquid Mineral by BodyBio a day in a bit of water. Do daily for about 7 days. You may also apply the zinc drops directly to the cold sore.
