Clinical Results on Patients with Tinea Versicolor, Jock Itch & Mild Nail Fungus
Saprox is a natural antifungal mud that has been clinically-proven on many suffering from tinea versicolor, tinea pedis and other tinea infections. Saprox works naturally by its high sulfur content. Research demonstrates positive outcomes when sulfur is applied to dermatological conditions like tinea versicolor.
Saprox Natural Antifungal's significant healing effect is by inhibiting and preventing growth of fungus and yeast.
The anaerobic condition where Saprox exists prevents parasites, fungus and most bacteria from invading the mud deeming it safe to use on skin without open sores.
Saprox Natural Antifungal may be used on most external fungal skin infections:
• Tinea versicolor
• Tinea cruris (Jock itch)
• Tinea pedis (Athlete's Foot)
• Tinea corporis (Ringworm)
• Tinea capitis (Ringworm of the scalp)
• Tinea unguium (Toenail fungus) - mild
• Persistent foot odor
• ...and many other fungus types
Clinical Action: anti-fungal, anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory. Contains minerals, humic acids, rich in organic sulphur. 100% natural, no additives.

Contains: lake-bottom mud from the Czech Republic and Water.
Saprox Natural Antifungal is 100% natural clay that contains sulphur and other minerals, humic acids, essential oils and other organic substances that are a product of very slow decomposition of herbs and aquatic plants without presence of oxygen over thousands of years. This natural process preserves beneficial elements within the clay. The combination of all elements play an important part of Saprox's complex effect.Shake Saprox very well.
Open and squeeze out desired amount onto fingers. Apply Saprox Natural Antifungal to fungal skin infection in a thin and even layer covering all affected and nearby areas.
Wait until dry - roughly 20 minutes - and then wash off with a wet washcloth or hop in the shower if Saprox is covering a large area. Dry skin thoroughly.
Repeat later in the day if desired or wait until the following day. Faster results seen if repeated morning and evening. Continue applying Saprox Natural Antifungal one week past healed skin. This may help eradicate any remaining fungus or yeast.
Make sure to treat infected shoes, slippers and insoles. This can be done cheaply by: Mix 1 part bleach with 10 parts water and spray shoes, slippers, insoles, razors and nail clippers.
Tinea versicolor: If Saprox dries too quickly, one may rewet the surface with a spray bottle. This allows the sulfur to penetrate more effectively for longer duration. Ideally have someone apply Saprox and rewet it for you to ensure proper coverage if on back or shoulders. Rewetting the Saprox once should be enough. Then allow to dry and wash off.
Tinea barbae (beard fungus, face fungus, ringworm): It is best to shave prior to application to ensure proper coverage of Saprox on affected areas. Treatment time will be less and outcome effective. If beard is left intact, then fungus may re-infect as complete coverage of affected area may not be possible. If shaving is not an option, pour necessary amount of Saprox to cover treatment area into a small bowl and dilute with a bit of water for a less muddy consistency. Use hands or put on large cloth and apply Saprox fully. Allow Saprox to dry and then shower off well as Saprox will adhere to the beard. Remember to bleach your razor after each shave. Also wash your towels with bleach. Consider a mild neem or tea tree oil soap as well. A chlorine shower filter may be paramount as well for complete healing and prevention of recurrence.
Tinea pedis (foot fungus or athletes foot): If only one toe is affected, simply apply a small amount on directly on the affected area. Let dry and then wash off. If more than one toe is affected, apply to all toes to prevent cross-contamination. Purchase highly breathable socks and spray shoes with 1 part bleach to 10 parts water. Wash white socks with bleach.
Tinea cruris (jock itch): If one is overweight and skin sweaty all day, it may be best to leave Saprox on all day. Purchase highly breathable, loose fitting boxers for better breathability.
Apply. Let it dry. Wash off. Apply moisturizer if needed. Moisturizer may be needed in the groin region. The feet typically do not needed moisturizer.

Truly Effective!
Review by Amanda -
Rating My boyfriend has had a case of diagnosed and untreated Tinea Versicolor for over 5 years. The fungus had spread to his whole torso, front and back. It left him unable to tan and became very red after he showered or worked out. This was the first product he tried, as the other options out there seemed too time consuming and ineffective. He used it every day till the bottle was empty (about 2 1/2weeks). Surprisingly, the Tinea is over 90% gone! In addition his skin now tans in the sun! We are both very happy with this product. Will be purchasing the 2nd bottle shortly!

Excellent Product
Review by Nick -
Rating I thought I would have tinea for the rest of my life after prescribed medications did not work...desperate on the computer late night I purchased a saprox. My body was about 50% covered, and this mud cleared it up in a little over 6 days. Follow the suggested usage based on severity and you will be on your way to clear healthy skin.

Finally I found Something that Works
Review by Carissa -
Rating I am a African-American woman with Tinea Versicolor. I have had it for the last 15 years and over those years watched it spread over my entire body. After many trips to the doctor and many bottles of Selsun Blue, I finally found something that works. I have used a bottle so far and after two weeks, the redness after a hot shower is significantly less. I look forward to the healing process and eventually getting back my even skin tone.

AMAZING!
Review by Karen -
Rating My 1 yr old son developed toe nail fungus in all of his toe nails one summer. A combination of sweaty feet and always wanting to wear his shoes without socks. I never thought it would turn into a full blown fungal infection. The pediatrician agreed it was fungus, but offered no solution. He scoffed at my idea to try natural oils, but said, "It couldn't hurt!" I initially tried a combination oil 3x a day, but could not completely rid him of the infection. I treated his nails for about 9-12 months like this. VERY SPENDY! I needed to change our game plan and started to do some more online searching. I found this web site and emailed Dr. Ben about my situation, and he emailed me back the same day! We started using the Saprox 2-3x a day, started silicia 6x, oral acidophilis, and bleaching anything that touched his toes (socks, shoes, nail clippers, etc.). Our new plan was aggressive, but it needed to be because by this time he'd had it for almost 2 years, his nails were yellow, crumbly, and twisted looking. It was spring and perfect timing for muddy toes and playing barefoot outside. Boys and mud kind of go hand-in-hand. I wish I could say this treatment was effective over night, but it wasn't. I can say that we still have a half a bottle of Saprox left and toe nails that are completely rid of infection! We treated him for 9 months before infection was completely gone. We continue to treat his nails every night during story time before bed just profilacticly. We never want to do this again!

Try It!
Review by Kay -
Rating My 11 year old developed the Tinea Versicolor rash last summer. I had never heard of this rash and was startled by the "bleached" circles it left on her skin, but thought it would resolve itself with some steroid cream. When it seemed to make it worse, I did some research on her symptoms and took her to her pediatrician. I told them I suspected it was a fungus but they ignored me and told me to keep putting the steroid cream on her. I took her back a second time and they decided that it was indeed a fungus. They told me there was no cure and to apply a dandruff shampoo for a few minutes every night before her shower, for one week. Her skin reacted to the shampoo and became red and inflamed. After several weeks of frustration, I began to look into natural treatments. I ordered Saprox because I felt I had nothing to loose. My daughter has tanned skin and the spots were starting to raise questions and embarrass her at school. I ordered Saprox and applied it first to a small area on her foot. She kept it on for about 20 minutes before showering it off. By morning the swelling had gone down considerably, and within several treatments the rash was gone. I knew it was safe to apply to her whole body, and we did so for about two weeks every night before her shower. Her rash was and is completely gone! It took a few months for the bleached spots to get their normal skin color back, but now her skin is back to normal. I am really glad I discovered this product for my daughter. I have always been skeptical about the effectiveness of alternative medicines, but now I will actually be more likely to try them before a pharmaceutical one.

Finally relief!!
Review by Bill -
Rating I have to admit that I was a bit skeptical about this product. but using it two times changed my mind! Its a bit different in how its applied. You put it on, let it dry and then clean off with water. Its kind of like a mud pack. As I said above after two applications I saw really improved results. Now after using the product for more than a week-my area is clear and shows no sign of issue. Really a great product!!

Saprox is the best!
Review by Danielle -
Rating I am on my 7th day of application and for the most part, you can't see it anymore. I'm so happy with this product. It's awesome. One more thing. I have read all of the possible causes for tinea versicolor and I don't know which one could have caused it. I'm very healthy, maintain very good hygiene and almost never take antibiotics. Can this tinea really just be triggered by heat or stress, cause I definitely have enough stress. Haha. Anyway, I have only had it for a few years and tried the shampoos and lotrimin with little success. I wanted to go natural because I knew that it would probably be the best choice, and it most definitely was! Saprox is the best! Thanks for your time. Danielle

Effective stuff
Review by Anonymous -
Rating I have had 'sweaty' feet for a few years - likely because I was always wearing boots and in Seattle's famous rains and mud when I used to do landscape construction. I used Saprox for about a week and my feet became very soft and didnt sweat nearly as much as they used to. Nice to have my feet back again. I also used Saprox on one of my boys when he had some athlete's foot from running around at the YMCA. The Saprox worked very well. It took the itching away and killed the athlete's foot. It was also fun to use because it is literally like putting mud on your feet - what kid doesnt like that?! I did have to put on lotion after I put on the Saprox otherwise I found his skin would get too dry from it. The container is huge - 1/2 liter - so if I ever get athlete's foot, I still have some around. (posted by Admin)

This Stuff Really Works!
Review by C Carr -
Rating Hi, I just want to let you know that the Saprox Mud product really works!! I've had tinea versicolor for over 20 years and have tried lotions, soaps and prescriptions that would treat the itching but never really take the spots away. I used this and after two weeks my itching AND spots are gone!! I also did a couple other thing you suggested, like cutting most of the refined sugars out of my diet and I recently bought a chlorine shower filter and that has made a big difference on my skin also. Just want to say thanks so much! Sincerely, C. Carr

The use of sulfur in dermatology.
Gupta AK , Nicol K .
Division of Dermatology, Department of Medicine, Sunnybrook And Women's College Health Science Center, University of Toronto, Toronto, Ontario, Canada. agupta@execulink.com
Sulfur has antifungal, antibacterial, and keratolytic activity. In the past, its use was widespread in dermatological disorders such as acne vulgaris, rosacea, seborrheic dermatitis, dandruff, pityriasis versicolor, scabies, and warts. Adverse events associated with topically applied sulfur are rare and mainly involve mild application site reactions. Sulfur, used alone or in combination with agents such as sodium sulfacetamide or salicylic acid, has demonstrated efficacy in the treatment of many dermatological conditions.

How long should Saprox be used for?
Answer:
Hi Diane -
Saprox should be applied 1 to 2 times daily for about 14 days.
Apply. Let Dry. Wash off with rag or hop in the shower.
We recommend a 10 Stage Water Filter as well due to chlorine's harmful effect on the skin.
You may find the Saprox here -

What do I use for Ringworm on the scalp on 3 children under 5 years of age?
Answer:
Hi there -
I recommend using Saprox on the scalp for all ages.
Saprox wont have to be left on the scalp for as long with a little one.
Apply the Saprox in a thin even layer. Let stay for about 5 to 10 minutes - until it is just about dry. Then remove the Saprox with a damp cloth. Consider applying baby oil to the scalp after the Saprox is removed.
I highly recommend the use of a chlorine filter as well. Chlorine is damaging to proteins - and skin is made of proteins. Chlorine dries out the skin causing the skin to produce more oil thereby creating a more moist environment for fungus.

Zinc status may be low. Supplementing with zinc and applying zinc topically to the scalp may prove beneficial.

I have ringworm above my right breast, how do i treat it?
Answer:
Hi there -
If you have ringworm, you may apply Saprox in an even layer over the area and a few inches beyond to ensure proper coverage.
Let Saprox dry, then wash off with a damp cloth. Repeat daily until the ringworm is gone.

Is Saprox safe to use during pregnancy?
Answer:
Saprox is safe to use externally over most body parts during pregnancy.
Saprox is an external use product only and has been tested for radiation and heavy metals; both of pass the required standards by leaps and bounds.
Do not apply Saprox to your nipples, vaginal area or areolas (dark area around the nipples). Breast stimulation during pregnancy is contraindicated.
I highly recommend you read this article about properly treating Tinea versicolor.

Saprox is excellent to kill the fungus
However, the underlying cause of the fungus needs to be addressed.
Getting a shower filter and bath filter which remove chlorine is especially important. Not only to help prevent recurrence of tinea versicolor, but also for your baby's health as chlorine damages membranes.
Ingesting the probiotics during pregnancy is ok. The nutrients which you cannot take in high doses are the Vitamin A, zinc and Vitamin D.
However, taking vitamin D3 at 2000 IU is typically recommended for pregnant mothers. Talk with your doctor about ordering a vitamin D3 blood test. Then dose the vitamin D3 based on the lab results.
Should you have any questions, please do ask.

Should I shave before using this?-Michael
Answer: There is no need to shave before applying Saprox. Just apply it, let it dry, then wash off with water in the shower or a very wet cloth.
Answer:
I would wash your skin first and then apply Saprox.
If you are experiencing dry skin and it is uncomfortable, you may apply moisturizer.
I recommend Olive Oil as a moisturizer or coconut oil. They are natural and without all the garbage typically found in most moisturizers.
If you are not using a shower filter, I highly suggest you obtain one as they keep your skin and lungs healthy and moist. Chlorine destroys skin and damages lung tissue.
