Each Stainless Steel Baby Bottle Unit comes with:

• 1 Klean Kanteen 12 ounce Bottle
• 2 Avent Spouts (of your choice)
• 1 Spout Cover
• 1 Adapter Cap which works for all Spouts

Upon arrival of your new Stainless Steel Baby Bottle:

• Wash the 12 oz Bottle in your Dishwasher..or
• with Hot Soapy White Vinegar water.
• Do this 3 times well. This gets the bottle very clean.
• Do NOT put the Avent Spouts in the dishwasher. This will ruin them. You may boil them for 5 minutes or wash them with hot soapy water. We recommend the 5 minutes boiling.

To Install the Avent Spouts:

• Unscrew the black Adapter Cap. It comes apart into 2 pieces.
• The 6 Month and 12 Month Spouts sit right on the inside of the bottom portion of the Adapter Cap. Once they sit there, put the top portion of the Adapter cap over it and screw the Adapter cap back together. Do this hand tight. Do not over-tighten.
• The Newborn, 1 Month and 3 Month Spouts: Pull the Spout through the top portion of the Adapter cap until it is snug. The screw the top portion of the Adapter Cap onto the bottom portion. (see photo above)

Maintenance and Care:

• You may store unused formula or breast milk in your Stainless Steel Baby bottle but it must be kept in the fridge or ice pack to maintain freshness.
• We recommend that every 24 hours, wash the Stainless Steel Baby Bottle well and boil the Avent Spouts for 5 minutes. Use a bottle brush with soap or a dishwasher for the Stainless Steel Baby Bottle.
• When Traveling: Put the Spout Cover on to prevent leaks as well as dirt from getting on the Spouts.

I have had 1 Klean Kanteen Sippy Cup for 3 of my boys. When my oldest was 6 months old, he began using the 6 month soft spout on the bottle and then moved up to the sport cap when he was about 1.5 yrs old. The same goes for my middle boy. Now my youngest of 3 months uses the 12 oz Bottle with the 3 Month Spout with breast milk - when mom is not around. I put the insulated thirsty tote on the 12 oz bottle when we put in warm tea or a cold smoothie. No more BPA in my boys' body!

Excellent product quality. I wish I had known about this product as soon as it was on the market! Stainless steel is the way to go for drink containers -- light, does not leak, does not break, and 100% recyclable. How more perfect can it get?

My bottle is leaking by the Adapter Cap. What is wrong?

• If the bottle leaks, you either tightened it too tightly or the Spouts were wet.
• Loosen the Adapter Cap a bit - Moms say that if the Adapter Cap is over-tightened, it can leak.
• Dry the Spouts well. If the spouts are too wet when you put them in the Adapter Cap, it may cause the seal not to occur.
• Do not put the Spouts in the dishwasher. The are only meant to be boiled or hand-washed.

This should take care of it!
