Acidophilis Sachets

HLC Synbiotic Intensive is the highest potency HLC product containing a minimum of 130 billion CFU of L. acidophilis, B. bifidum, B. lactic, and L. salivarius in each sachet. Each of these different strains attach in different areas of the skin tissue in the intestinal tract (small and large intestines). This probiotic is a microbial replacement program for the gastrointestinal tract intended for 7 to 14 days depending on the severity of the problem.

Product Description: There are 7 sachets in each container. We no longer ship the sachets in a plastic container as it is a very popular product and we do not want to add more plastic to our landfills. The sachets are labeled individually.

Highly Recommended: Take 1 full sachet in a small glass of water before dinner for 14 days. This significantly reduces intestinal yeast overgrowth thereby reducing the recurrence of skin and nails fungus AND has been shown to improve immune function and decrease food sensitivity.

• 7 sachets = 40 days of mild nail treatment without treating intestinal yeast.
• 14 sachets = 40+ days of nail treatment + mild treatment of intestinal yeast overgrowth.
• 21 sachets = 40 days of nail treatment + 14 sachets taken 1 each night before dinner. This helps establish healthy digestive bacteria which assists reducing candida and limiting the recurrence of nail fungus. (1 full sachet in water before dinner).
• 35 sachets is needed for moderate infection + restoration of intestinal healthy bacteria. (Nails take ~ 6 months to grow out).

Special Note: Fungus is due to either a weak immune system, trauma to the nail area, high refined carbohydrate diet and/or recent or long term use of antibiotics. That said, taking one full Sachet in a glass of water before dinner for 14 days helps restore healthy gut bacteria which likely has a direct impact on proper immune function, may help combat fungus internally and externally long term and reduce refined carbohydrate and sugar cravings as the 'bad' bacteria which do crave sugar will be wiped out by the beneficial bacteria. I started using your product about a month ago. I've always had problems with my feet since I was a child, stubbing my foot, and of coarse to lazy to change socks and always never wanting to get rid of my "favorite" tennis shoes. Well after trying your product, its is amazing. I saw results (no lie) in less then two days. Just curious how it might work and not asking the wife if it was a hair brain idea, I bought into this. I waited a day or two and thought am I seeing things is this really working? I took my shoes and socks off and was just lounging around when the wife came in and saw my feet. Acidophilus Beer Soak Instructions by Dr Ben

Essential Ingredients:

• Acidophilus Sachets containing a specific strain of 125 billion organisms.
• Guinness Stout beer or any other dark beer (Guinness is the one proven to work).
• White Vinegar only. Do NOT use apple cider vinegar.
• Basin big enough for your feet or hands.
• Time.
• Persistence and Consistency.
• Spray bottle of Bleach and water (diluted 1 part bleach to 10 parts water).

Before Soaking your feet:

• Get the spray bottle of bleach that you made.
• Spray the insides of all your shoes with it and let them dry overnight. Do this daily after you wear them.
• Get new cotton highly breathable socks which you can bleach. Take your shoes off at work if you can – let your feet breathe.
• Throw away those non-breathable shoes and get leather or open-toed shoes.
• Trim away all dead nail you can careful not to touch your clean nails with your trimmers. Bleach the trimmers between each nail to disinfect them.
• Consume less sugar, less starch and eat a more healthful diet.
• Before dinner, you may seriously consider taking 1 full Acidophilus sachet and mix it in a bit of water. Stir well and drink. Don’t worry it tastes good. Do this for 14 days. People who do this have much better and lasting results.

Mixing the Solution:

• Key here: As long as you cover your nails in the solution, you’re fine. The amounts of white vinegar and beer below are estimates.
• In tub, pour 1 liter of room temperature beer into a basin.
• Add ½ of the Acidophilus sachet.
• Add 1 liter of White Vinegar.
  • Note: You may use less beer and less white vinegar if you are treating fingernail fungus or smaller feet. We do recommend that ½ sachet is used per mixture as it is a vital ingredient.

Soaking Infected Nails:

• Wash your feet with quality soap.
• Turn on the TV; get a book or your dog’s ball. Basically, find an activity.
• Soak clean feet in the solution for 30 minutes before bed or when best for you.
• On removing your feet or fingernails from the basin, file the infected nail ends and top down with a pumice stone or file.
• Spray or soak your pumice or file in the Diluted Bleach mixture to clean it before filing each toe or fingernail.
• After each 3rd day, toss out the entire solution and remake using the formula: 1 liter of white vinegar, 1 liter of dark beer and the remaining half of one sachet. This keeps the solution's ingredients in active live form. If too old, it will not work. Remember, you may use less white vinegar and less beer but not less bacteria. As long as you cover your nails in the solution, you’re fine.
• Repeat for 30 days every day. Do not skip a day for best results.
• Do twice a day for faster results.

Storing the Solution for the 3 days while soaking:

• There is no need to refrigerate the solution for three days as the bacteria are very shelf stable.
• Do, however, store the unused Acidophilus sachets in the fridge.
• I recommend storing the solution covered outside in cool weather.
• If not cool outside, store covered in a discreet part of your home as the vinegar and beer put off an odor. If you keep it covered, this is not a problem.

What to look for: As fungus gets killed by this natural toenail fungus treatment, you will notice new nail growth from the nail base coming in clear. This is a good sign. Some people see clearing at the base within one week and some people see clearing at the base in one month. It all depends on how fast your nails grow and how often you soak them.

Make sure you do this toenail fungus treatment daily. Make it a routine. Watch some TV, read a book or simply relax for 30 minutes.

Slow growing or unhealthy nails?

• If you know your nails grow slowly or sickly, then you may want the MSM or Silicea 6x cell salts as they have shown to increase nail growth.
• If you find that you get gas from broccoli or other sulfur-containing vegetables, then you are likely low in the mineral Molybdenum.
• If you get headaches after drinking red wine, then you are likely low in the mineral Molybdenum.
• This is important because MSM contains a lot of sulfur. If you get gas from the MSM, get molybdenum.

I purchased the 7 sachets and I did the beer soak everyday, it seemed to clear my big toe, but my smaller toe is still highly taken by the fungus. Why would the sachets only help 1 toe instead of both of them on the same foot?

Hi Amy -

The small nail grows slowly. Much slower than the large nail.

I recommend taking Biotin, MSM and the Silicea cell salts in order to speed nail growth.

If you have not done so, taking the sachets internally is suggested as those with nail fungus typically have an overgrowth of yeast in their digestive tract. Common recommendation is to take 1 full sachet in a 1/2 cup of water right before dinner. Do this for 14 days and then you are done.

Limit carbs, sugars and wear breathable shoes/socks.

If it is only one toe left, you may consider Saprox Natural Antifungal. Apply that to the small toe daily or nightly - and it will grow out cleanly - in time.

Nails grow slowly - keep doing the procedure for 3 months and you should notice improvement.

What typically happens is other nails may turn white from the vinegar which looks like fungus - those nails have already been on their way to getting nail fungus and the beer soak is making that apparent.

I've had patients state the same situation as you - but it all resolves with continued soaking.

Make sure you take the sachets internally as well to help combat the internal yeast overgrowth that may be occurring. It is common that people have a yeast overgrowth internally which causes a depressed immune function which then causes nail fungus.

Vitamin D is key also.

I have suffered for years with recurrent vaginal yeast infections. I have recently introduced a probiotic supplement to my diet, which seems to have put the kabash on my infections.

Why is the probiotic not intended for use in nursing mothers? I am still nursing my 10 month old son and would like to know what supposed dangers exist with probiotic ingestion.

I believe there is some confusion here.

ParaBiotic Plus is not a probiotic. ParaBiotic Plus is designed to assist in eradicating parasites, yeast, malaria and bacteria.

A probiotic is ok for nursing mothers and in fact recommended by many physicians.

There are a few instances where this is not true - as in many medical conditions. If the infant has serious gastrointestinal bleeding or other major GI complaints, it is best to seek the advice of a naturopathic physician before the mother ingests a probiotic.

However, studies have shown that mothers who take probiotics while breastfeeding have infants with improved digestion, less skin complaints like eczema and improved immune function.

There is a special probiotic designed for infants which you can get from us that is special order. It is called Neonate and contains bacterial strains designed to assist in the breakdown of mother's milk. This product is given directly to the baby.

For a maintenance program, take 1/4th of an Acidophilus Sachet in a bit of water, stir well. Don't worry - it tastes quite good!

Do this daily right before dinner. Research shows that probiotics taken right before dinner show the best survival rate.

Answer:

The Beer Soak is safe for children.

The only change: Soak for less time as their toenails are softer than adults.

They should soak only for about 10 minutes.

Rinse off their feet with water after soaking.
