What is used for the all natural the flame retardant for these mattresses?

Answer:

It is based off of baking soda and silica (sand). They are spun into the fibers of the mattress, which then bonds them permanently to the fibers.

Can you please tell me what is used for the ultra-thin waterproof membrane on the Organic No-Compromise Waterproof Pad?

The waterproofing material in the mattresses and pads is made from polyethylene. This is a universally accepted safe plastic. The polyethylene is food-grade, meaning that it is safe to come in direct contact with food. All of the pads and mattresses are tested by a third-party organization called Green Guard. They test to make sure that there are no chemicals or off-gassing coming from our products. These pass their highest standard for Babies and Children with flying colors.
