  • Hello - Nerve Tonic is very safe. You may feel tired or groggy if you take too much. I recommend evaluating your symptoms and what you are taking for them if you find yourself taking a lot of one thing. Best Dr Ben

  • metformin 1000mg. 2x daily, and synthroid 1 mcg. 1x daily
    and Lorazepam 1mg. >ONLY AS NEEDED
    I hope your nerve tonic, added to my medications will be a God send for me.
    
    PS: I'd also like to know if Hylands has a specific remedy for mild depression. I am a 70 yr. young woman ;0)

    Hyland's Nerve Tonic is very safe and may be used along with other medications. You may find you need less axiety medications while taking Nerve Tonic. If so, please do talk with your doctor about adjusting your medications - do not do it yourself.

    A remedy for mild depression depends on many factors. There are various causes for depression and in order to recommend something, I would need more information about diet, lifestyle and other supplements taken.

    Vitamin D3 is commonly though in those with depression - and in those who are not getting much sun. Consider taking 5,000 IU of Vitamin D3 daily with a meal to support healthy moods, immune function and skin.

  • I'd also like to know if I can take your nerve tonic , plus your calm fort at the same time , before I go to bed at night.

    You may combine them as they are both safe to take; however, I would try one alone first to see if it is effective enough for you.

    If it is not effective for you, then you may combine them.

    If they both do not work for you, let me know and we'll do a different approach.

    Make sure that you eat protein every couple hrs during the day - to keep your blood sugar in check. This is a very useful tip and one of the most common causes of insomnia is the lack of protein before bed. So be so to have a protein snack before bed as well.
