Q: I have crohn's disease and your Intestinal Repair Complex by BioGenesis product looks great.  Is it okay for someone with auto-immune disease?

A: Intestinal Repair Complex by BioGenesis is excellent for Crohn's patients. It has shown remarkable benefit. It will only benefit those with autoimmune conditions - not cause harm. Healing the digestive system is paramount in properly controlling autoimmune conditions.

In the past, I  have recommended my Crohn's patients to use the following:

• Intestinal Repair Complex (4 tsp 2x a day for 7 days and decrease to 2 tsp 2x a day for as long as you need)
• Bio-Inflammatory Powder by BioGenesis (1/2 scoop 2x a day for 7 days and increase to 1 scoop 2x a day for as long as you need)
• Acidophilus sachets by Pharmax (1 packet in 1/4 cup of water stirred well before dinner for 14 days)
• Cod Liver Oil by Pharmax (2 Tablespoons a day with food or in a smoothie - it tastes good!)

I add all the above into a smoothie with frozen blueberries and water or rice milk. Easy, fast and effective.

Once better, I then transition them to Vitamin D3 liquid by Seeking Health (4000 IU a day which is 2 drops on the tongue).
