Core Cat's Claw is a Spagyric extract of Cat's Claw, which has been used medicinally for thousands of years by the indigenous peoples of the Amazon rainforest. The oldest historical use of Cat's Claw is documented by the Asháninka tribe of central Peru, using it for a variety of conditions related to enhancing low immune response; assisting inflammatory conditions of all kinds including arthritis, gastritis, skin and genitourinary inflammation; and for gastric ulcers, asthma, diabetes, convalescence and debility.
In the early 1970's, Klaus Keplinger is credited for first discovering and extracting the primary phytochemical in Cat's Claw responsible for its immunostimulating properties, namely the oxindole alkaloids. This discovery popularized the botanical's use in Europe, and since then studies have demonstrated its effect on diseases affecting the immunological system. Other studies have further shown that Cat's Claw may aid DNA cellular repair preventing cell mutation. It also contains sterols and antioxidants, giving it anti-inflammatory properties for a wide range of conditions related to arthritis, digestion and the urinary tract.
Core Cat's Claw may be helpful in any healing strategy where the immune system has been compromised due to an overburden of pathogens as well as with a variety of bowel disorders or other inflammatory conditions.
