As a naturopathic physician, Dr. Ben understands the need for such a business - especially online. Dr. Ben recently graduated from Bastyr University with his doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine. Backgound: HealthE Goods began as a little table inside Bastyr University. We displayed our wares there to students, professors and doctors who walked by and at times purchased our unique products. The testimonials came in and we realized that HealthE Goods needs to benefit more than a few. Now only a year and a half later, we find ourselves a finalist as Better Business Bureau Business of the Year 2006. Thank you customers!

Dr. Ben's Bio: Raised on a 100 acre horse ranch in central Oregon with 40 horses, 12 dogs, 40 cats, 2 goats, stray cattle and some turkeys. Graduated from the University of Washington with a Cell and Molecular Biology, B.S. While at UW, he rowed 3 years for the Huskies. During his one year backpacking trip throughout the South Pacific and Southeast Asia, Dr. Ben realized there existed another form of medicine. It was on this trip that he decided this is where his future lay. Dr. Ben graduated from Bastyr University where he received his doctorate of naturopathic medicine. He lives just north of Seattle with his wife, Nadja; two sons, Tasman and Matvei; and feline companion, Bulle.

Nadja's Bio: Raised in Narva, Estonia and also out in the Russian countryside along a remote river during the summers. Former young track star in hurdles and sprints. Graduated with a degree in Management with a focus in chemical-free cosmetics. Now full-time with two young boys at home and very active in the local Russian community.

Mission: To provide and inform the public about safe, proven and effective natural health products; provide current and useful natural health information while teaching the importance of disease prevention and health promotion.

Goal: To be the respected online natural health resource whereby the public trusts our information provided and shares their experiences with others. In sharing experiences, the public helps promote our mission of disease prevention and health promotion.

Environmental Footprint: Minimal. HealthE Goods uses reclaimed packaging in 90% of outgoing shipments; that is 100% recycled product without demanding energy. Our warehouse is naturally lit by day and by night with fluorescent low-energy bulbs. The office and warehouse are powered by 200% renewable energy via wind power from Renewable Choice Energy.
