Works great

Started taking Ashwagandha Extract twice a day (one in the morning and one before bed) a month ago and have really noticed a balanced calming effect. Nothing dramatic, just evenly relaxed. Will definitely keep it on hand to help me through the stress of the holidays. Thanks!

- When taking Ashwagandha, is it safe to have a glass of wine with dinner since I've read that it has a sedative effect?
- Ashwagandha is a very subtle herb. It is more of an adaptogen rather than a sedative. I do not agree that Ashwagandha is a sedative. You will likely agree with me when you take it. You'll feel calm without noticing - it is a beautiful thing ;) It is fine to have with alcohol. Do not exceed three capsules at any one time. It is very safe but I've been told by my herbal medicine professors not to take more than 3 at a time. Best, Dr Ben
