What does Angiostop do?
- Inhibits RTKs: vascular endothelial growth factor receptor (VEGFR), epithelial growth factor receptor (EGFR), platelet derived growth factor receptor (PDGFR), fibroblast growth factor receptor (FGFR)
- Inhibits angiogenesis – stops new blood vessel formation

Angiostop's effect on the vascular endothelial growth factor receptor (VEGFR) is most important because it stops angiogenesis, cutting off nutrient and blood supply to the tumor. Angiostop also inhibits EGFR (epidermal), PDGFR (platelet-derived), and FGFR (fibroblast), for a broad-spectrum inhibitory effect.
